Event Venues / Sepetciler Qasr

Sepetçiler Qasr : was built in 1592 in the reign of Murat III, whose hobby was said to be basket-making – that is where the name of the palace comes from. It is a prominent structure on the shore of the Golden Horn Bay, overlooking the sea, with the spires of the Topkapi Palace Harem rising above it.  The Quasr was favored by Ottoman Sultans as a residence for summertime.  Nowadays Sepetciler Quasr, with its for separate halls (the biggest one having the banqueting capacity of 160 pax) and two terraces with gorgeous Bosphorus views, is used for banqueting, meetings, cocktails and special events.  The sea-front garden of this venue, with banqueting capacity up to 750 people is managed by Swissôtel banqueting department.
