Military Museum : The museum has an extensive and interesting collection of exhibits from all periods of Ottoman military history. Among these are the beautiful cannons captured by the Turks in their campaigns in Europe and Middle East, all of them arrayed outside the museum. Another notable exhibit is the huge and sumptuous imperial tent in which the Sultan lived when he accompanied the army on campaign. There are also performances of Ottoman military music every day except Monday and Tuesday. |
